Mr. Bhavani Kumar and his family moved from California and made Nashville as their home. He has been actively involved with Nashville Kannada Koota ever since he moved to Nashville. He managed Non Profit organization, working with around 100 + Volunteers to serve around 1000+ Kannada members to organize social events, promote culture providing scholarships to eligible students, work with Shankara Eye foundation, OSAAT, NAVIKA, Red Cross, AKKA – Achieve the objective of a voluntary organization primarily run by donations and memberships from interested members of the general public. Kannada Koota has a long way in achieving its objectives and in expanding its activities to new horizons.

Mr. Dattaraj Joshi and his family comes from North Karnataka. He is a passionate individual towards Kannada and its culture. He has organized several Kannada related events in India and abroad.

Mr. Nithin Rao and his family comes from Bangalore. He is a Manufacturing Controlling specialist by profession with 10+ years of hands-on experience in managing large scale production facilities. Nithin and his wife Divya prefer spending their spare time on travelling, watching movies and cooking. In the past he has also been a very active member of several NGOs such as the American Society of Quality, MTU : Leaders of Continuous Improvement, 31 Back packs, The young imaginers etc. He is a very proud Kannadiga and has been a part of kannada kootas in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Alabama. |

Mrs. Roopa Hemanth and her family comes from Bangalore. She is a Technologist by profession with 22+ years in architecting and delivering IT solutions for giant IT firms. She has 2 daughters and in her spare time, she loves to garden and read books. She used to be a Radio Jockey at the local radio station for a brief period promoting Kannada music to the listeners. She has been very actively volunteering for Nashville Kannada Koota as a cultural secretary |

I am from Kundapur , Karnataka and living in Nashville since 2014 and now serving as one of the board members. Kannada Koota has helped me find and network with so many like minded people around here and given us a platform to learn and be a part of Kannada events . Excited to be part of NKK and will do my best to support all events we plan for the community |
